Wire Transfers

An electronic wire transfer is an easy and inexpensive way to move money between your credit union account and an account at another financial institution . Requests must be made in person, by fax or mail. Domestic requests must be placed by 2:30 p.m. for same-day transfer of funds.

For international wire transfers, the country and SWIFT number are necessary. Please be sure to include contact information, including email address, for purposes of verification. If you can obtain a nine-digit U.S. routing number, the transfer will be considered a domestic wire and the lower domestic wire fee will be charged. An international wire transfer may take in excess of one week to reach its final destination.

To request a wire transfer, download GPOFCU’s Wire Transfer Request & Disclosure form.
